Chubbies are launched, gaining a cult following in California and beyond for their fitted, brightly colored men’s cotton shorts. The company has since added other apparel, including hoodies, loungewear and underwear, outerwear and swim trunks. There’s also a range of women’s and kids’ shorts, though Chubbies’ main focus will remain on menswear.
